  • Who's Invited?: Everyone. Please invite and bring friends and family and strangers.
  • Purpose: We are hoping to bless the believers and share the gospel with unbelievers.
  • Costumes: Costumes are welcome but not required. Please no scary costumes.

    • Meet to pray and seek the Lord for more direction and clarity.

Meeting to clarify vision - Sept.19

  • Ashley and Amy share about the visions they had.

  • Conclusion that the Lord wants to do an outreach not at the church.
  • Perhaps at a neighborhood park.
  • Feeling like we need a location.

  • 4 people shared about "Stars" or the "Heavens"
    • I'm thinking this could be our decoration theme.
    • I wonder if maybe someone was into astronomy and had a telescope(s) they could show kids different interesting things in the nighttime sky.
  • 3 peoples shared about  "salvation" or the "gospel" 
    • I think there should be a gospel and salvation component or components
    • There are several possibilities of how to do this.
  • "Fear" "Scared" "Afraid" and "Courage" were mentioned. 
    • Not sure how the Lord wants to address that.
  • "Helper" and "Mediator" were mentioned about God. 
    • Not sure how the Lord wants to manifest that.
  • God being the "Light" was mentioned. 
    • Not sure how the Lord wants to manifest that.
  • There was mention of a "Puppet Theater." 
    • Not sure what the Lord wants to do with this.

1st Meeting: September 13th

  • We met to seek the Lord on what He has in mind for this year.
  • Darin shared previous year's events and the need to seek the Lord for this year.
  • Below is the "Prayer Time Notes" of what was shared during the time of prayer.

Volunteer Screening:

  • Background Check and Sexual Abuse Training: Everyone who will be interacting with kids at this event will need to be "Background Checked" and take our online "Sexual Abuse Training." Those under 18 will only need to take the training. Minors cannot be fingerprinted and background checked.
  • Background Check "Live Scan" request form: CLICK HERE
    • Print out and fill out the form and take it to a place that offers "Live Scan" services.
    • Most UPS or shipping stores offer Live Scan Service
    • We recommend "Mail and More" on the corner of Laguna Blvd and Franklin Blvd. next to the CVS.
    • The cost is about $25.
  • Online Sexual Abuse Awareness Training: 
    • Darin will send you a unique link specific to each person via email. 
    • The email will come from our Vendor called "Ministry Safe."
